Along our journeys throughout the year we occasionally encounter some unusual situations.  While at the time these escapades may be somewhat annoying or inconvenient, in our usual LSCC manner we make the best of what seems to be the worst.  We are generally able to lighten the burden with laughter and camaraderie.  This year was no exception.  While there were numerous stories from many events I felt these were note worthy, therefore special “Recognition” was given.  Ask the recipients to fill you in on the details.  You’ll get quite a chuckle!

Honorable Mention:

“Learning How To Reset Your Electric Convertible Top The Hard Way” – Robert & Linda Shellberg for their escapades at the Fort Worth Rod & Custom Show.

“It's Only Rubber - Burn 'Em Up!” – Ken & Jean Hill on the way to Hot Springs.

Everyone had a good laugh at the awards presentations during the December LSCC meeting.  How will we top this in 2009? by you keeping me apprised via email, of your participation and escapades for the 2009 season which began November 2, 2008 and ends November 1, 2009.  Happy New Year and….Shine On!  Linda Walker
