I was at the Dallas Auto Show & talked with some of your members. They tell me that the club receives discounts on new Vettes. If this is indeed the case can you tell me how the discount is. Bob Kroupa 2002 black convertible-no mods. Indian River, MI C5R36308 Was into the street rod hobby for 30 plus years. The same car the whole time. 39 Ford Coupe. I decided at 55 to quit crawling around under cars, any decided the Vette would still scratch the itch. Had a 59 in college and a 96 until I saw the convertible being unloaded off the carrier at my Chev dealer. Had the 96 in for brake work. Lost the front rotor at ()115mph x-way exit. Night crusing and it came up fast. Should have just driven by. Oh-well. New vette and loving it. Happy driving to the Lone Star Club members. Bob

this is to all the members of this club: about a month ago several of your members wer'e driving in oklahoma, while driving one of your members( he drives a black vette, and he and his buddies know who you are.) ran a man on a harley-davidson of the road and then lied to the police about what happened. i just wanted you to know that this man is a friend of mine and he is ina lot of pain now. He suffered a broken leg, his collor bone was broken as well as all his ribs, and he will suffer financialy as well. Now i'm sure ya don't care but i can't beleive that this club would condone the kind of "ROAD RAGE" that man exhibits. You all need to be aware that other people use the roads as well as you and drive like grown adults, realizing that you actions affect others. There is no telling how many other people heas hurt or will hurt. I only hope that he is stopped before he KILLS someone. thank you

Can someone help me? While admiring what I believe was a 2003 Corvette (I might be off on the year but it was the 1998 and newer body style) I was speaking with the owner who said the color of the car was Silver Blue Metallic...my wife and I loved the color, but are now unable to find anything except Electron Blue samples of this vehicle...is the guy confused (unlikely) or am I forgetting what he said or got theyear wrong. The best way to describe the color is gun metal blue with the metallic overlay...the car was not a custom re-paint or anything. If you can help me out my e-mail is: mskaye@theriver.com Thanks.

As a former member but always a Corvette/LSCC supporter I am still proud of that association and miss it greatly. I am currently living in Northern California sans Corvette, but I still have change meetings with Vette lovers here in the Bay area. I can tell you there is nothing like LSCC and its people here in California. Many of the club members here have heard of you guys but don't quite believe the rumors of the size and diversity of the worlds largest Corvette club. Be proud of what you have and the wonderful relationships that that you cultivate there. I hope to have another Vette soon ( divorces are sooo not fun) and rejoin the Faithful. By the way Corvettes kicked ass at Laguna Seca. I sat right at the top of the Cork Screw for more than six hours and watched the last race of the Petite LeMans series race here near Monterey, California.
